Common Questions
What is a Care Plan, and do I need one?
A Care Plan is a monthly subscription that keeps your website secure, updated, and backed up automatically. If your site runs on WordPress or any CMS, outdated plugins and unmonitored security are real risks. A Care Plan removes that risk and gives you a local team to call when you need changes.
What happens to my unused task hours?
On Growth and Partner plans, unused task time rolls over as Digital Credits that never expire. You can spend them on anything FrankDevs offers — content updates, new features, landing pages, or even a future website rebuild. Essential plan task time (30 min/month) is a monthly allocation and does not roll over.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Both billing options include the same 12-month service commitment. Annual billing means you pay upfront for 10 months and receive 12 months of service — saving approximately 17% (equivalent to 2 months free). Monthly billing spreads the cost but totals more over the year.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade from Essential to Growth or Partner at any time. Your new plan starts immediately and we'll prorate the billing difference. Downgrading is possible at renewal.
What if I need more task time than my plan includes?
No problem. Any work beyond your monthly task allocation is billed at $75/hr (Casual rate). We always notify you before any topup charge and get your approval first.
Is the Care Plan included in my website build price?
No — Care Plans are always a separate subscription. Your website build price includes Year 1 domain, hosting, and email, plus 2 weeks of post-launch support. After that, a Care Plan is strongly recommended to keep your investment protected.
Do you manage my domain and hosting renewals?
Yes, all Care Plans include domain and hosting renewal management. We track your renewal dates and handle the process so nothing lapses unexpectedly. You'll still own your domain — we just manage the admin.
